For Black History Month we focused on the theme: ‘Windrush 75’.

To celebrate this theme, we learnt a lot of information about the Windrush Generation and the many challenges Caribbean people faced when they came to England to work, after World War 11.  We also looked at the how the Caribbean people worked together to create a culture of community with food, music and dance, which we all enjoy in Britain today!

The whole school  showcased all this learning in our Black History Month Assembly where many parents came out to celebrate our learning
