Head’s Welcome
A huge, warm welcome to Holmleigh Primary School-a vibrant and wonderfully diverse inner-city school where children thrive in a safe, nurturing and secure environment and are passionate and motivated life-long learners.
We want our children to enjoy their learning and we achieve this in an enabling environment which fosters our core values including respect, kindness, honesty, resilience, integrity and trust.
We have high expectations for our pupils academically and take equal care to develop their all-round abilities and personal confidence through a rich, broad, balanced and engaging curriculum. We work together to give our children positive initial experiences of learning and relationships, which help to make them responsible, confident, competent, responsive citizens who appreciate the value of community.
At Holmleigh, we believe that ‘Team Work Makes the Dream Work’ and together we can provide the best school experience for every single child.
We have a passionate, highly committed staff who work hard to provide our children with a huge range of opportunities, carefully designed to spark their interests and enthusiasm, inspire them, and enable them to realise their full potential.
We firmly believe that education is a partnership between home and school and regard parents as active partners in their children’s education. In this respect, we greatly value your interest and welcome support.
We have a hard working governing board who support and challenge the school. Our PTA, Friends Of Holmleigh, work together with the whole school community to raise funds for a wide variety of projects throughout the school; their support has enabled us to enhance the school’s provision in many areas.
We are proud of Holmleigh and I hope that you find the information you are looking for on our website. It will grow over time as we add more information. If you are interested in visiting our school, we offer regular tours for visitors, so please just simply call our school office and come along and see Holmleigh in action.
