The School Council is group of students who are elected to represent the views of all pupils and to improve our school. Pupils are elected annually from each class in KS2 and meet fortnightly with a senior member of staff.
Holmleigh Primary School is dedicated to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of its pupils. It is the duty of all members of staff, both teaching and non-teaching, to play an active roll in ensuring this. All members of staff are expected to be aware of and follow the Safeguarding procedures. In particular they need to be aware of their duty to report concerns, the guidance for identifying child abuse, what to do if a child makes an allegation of child abuse and issues about confidentiality.
At Holmleigh Primary School, we believe that every child, no matter their needs or circumstances, should be supported to reach their full potential. This policy, in conjunction with our schools SEN School Offer, sets out how we aim to achieve this.
