Science Workshops at Our Lady’s Catholic High School
This term, children in Years 3-6 visited Our Lady’s Catholic High School for science workshops and activities.
Specialist science teachers and year 11 pupils taught them and covered topics such as Forces and Magnets, Earth and Space and Living Things and their Habitats.
They were able to conduct science investigations in a modern, fully equipped science lab. They were given the opportunity to use and apply many skills including literacy, maths, social skills, communication, flexibility and initiative.
This experience helped to boost their confidence and spark our children’s creativity and passion for science.
We are grateful to our Our Lady’s Catholic High School for this wonderful opportunity.
Here are some highlights from the sessions.
