We’re hosting a one-day, large-scale, drop-in and totally free street festival about making and materials.

Join the Institute of Making team for an afternoon filled to the brim with collaborative activities, interactive demonstrations, delectable making madness, free food and live music. Try throwing clay on a pottery wheel, experiment with casting metal, learn the tricks of the blacksmithing trade, explore the science of squishing, delve into the small but mighty world of super absorbent polymers and watch a 14-ton steam roller cruise a bespoke crushing catwalk.
