Hackney Education’s Family Coaching Service continue to offer its services at Holmleigh. This term, they are focusing on behaviour and are open to all parents of SEND children, with or without an official diagnosis or EHCP!
This service is part of the SEND team, aiming to be a connection between family home life, school and the community and provide coaching and mentoring opportunities:
- To support families to identify and talk about difficulties they are currently facing and then find a way forward in their journey.
- To actively listen to families and identify possible workshop opportunities within communities.
- To provide a non-judgemental and confidential space for families.
Groups are filling fast, so if you are interested, you need to register quickly to avoid disappointment as there are only 10 spaces per group. Parents must email familycoach@hackney.gov.uk.
