Starting reception class

Hackney Education deals with all admissions to Holmleigh Primary School via the online London system at www.eadmissions.org.uk. For Nursery applications, please see below.

The closing date for Reception admissions is 15th January each year.

If you are a parent considering sending your children to us, you are very welcome to contact the school and make an appointment to visit the school. Mr Ward, the Headteacher, will take you around for a tour of the school.

Nursery Pupils

The school Nursery deals with its admissions, so please inquire with the school office by contacting Jane Poole (senior administrator). You may call her on 020 8802 7420 or email JPoole@holmeigh.hackney.sch.uk to obtain an application form.

Please note, attendance at the school nursery does not guarantee a place in reception class.

Making an application after the start of the school year

Hackney Education deals with all applications, including making an application after the school year called in-year admissions. More information is available here. To apply for an in-year place, you will need to complete the in-year application form.

Children with Special Educational Needs

There is a separate transfer process for pupils who have or are getting an Education, Health and Care Plan (called draft). Do not complete the online form.
