The School Day
The school gates open each morning at 8.45 am. For the safety of the children, they should not arrive at school before then.
The school bell is rung promptly at 9.00 am each morning. Teachers will collect children from the playground at the start of the day.
Please ensure that your child arrives on time for school. We place a high priority on punctuality and attendance and expect every child to be on time for school. We ask that children are in the playground before the school bell rings at 9.00 am. Late arrivals disrupt the class and learning of the child. Every absence must be reported to the school in the morning by telephone and followed up with a note on the child’s return to school.
Children arriving after 9.05 am will be recorded as late by the office staff. All attendance and lateness is monitored and reported to the Attendance Service at the Learning Trust.

School finishes at 3.30 pm. Parents/Carers picking up children should wait in the playground and teachers will bring their class out to the playground. This will enable us to safely disperse children at the end of the school day and everyone to continue to observe some level of social distancing. Please ensure that children are collected on time, as teachers and other staff cannot supervise children after the end of the school day.
