Nick de Haes Co-opted Governor

I feel so honoured to be a governor of Holmleigh Primary School. The staff, parents, pupils, and broader community have all worked tirelessly to create a truly inspiring place for students. Holmleigh is delivering brilliantly on a holistic approach to education, where students engage in a robust core curriculum as well extra-curricular activities (e.g. school trips abroad) and socio-emotional learning. Having been a primary school teacher, I know this doesn’t simply happen, but comes with a lot of effort, empathy and ingenuity. In my role as a Governor, I hope to support the school as it builds on everything it has already achieved. On top of my time teaching, I come with experience in organizational strategy (I currently work for a Strategy Consultancy) and education technology (I have worked for a number of EdTech companies).
